Research and dissemination work on the Inclusive Repopulation Tactical Groupings strategy, which explores alternative ways to increase the quantity and quality of public housing stock. It was initially commissioned by Barcelona City Council to a group of professionals from different disciplines and its objective is to propose methods and ways to counteract the impacts of the tourism industry and the real estate market.
This strategy consists of taking advantage of the gaps that are undermining the compactness of consolidated urban fabrics to help cities be able to simultaneously guarantee the right to housing and the right in the city, complementing existing efforts in the production of public housing.
The lines of research work include: diagnosis, legal front, economic front, architectural/constructive front, economic front and management.
For the diffusion of this working in the edition of a book, counting on guest collaborators of areas close to the study as Zaida Muxí, Santiago Cirugeda and Jaime Palomera.
