It was initially commissioned by Barcelona City Council to a group of professionals from different disciplines and its objective is to propose methods and ways to counteract the impacts of the tourism industry and the real estate market.
This strategy consists of taking advantage of the gaps that are undermining the compactness of consolidated urban fabrics to help cities be able to simultaneously guarantee the right to housing and the right in the city, complementing existing efforts in the production of public housing.
